Fascinated by the thriving and self-healing power of the human body, Dr. Marie was led to pursue the healing arts from a young age. A Texas native, she grew up struggling with chronic headaches and low back pain that were exacerbated by athletic injuries. Looking for an alternative approach to traditional treatments, her family sought treatment from the local chiropractor, who explained what was happening and why, and how the body’s unique ability for self-healing can function optimally if given the right support. It was the knowledge she gained and encouragement from her chiropractor throughout college that led her to pursue a career in healthcare.
Dr. Marie received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Parker University after receiving both her B.S. and M.S. in Agricultural Communications from Texas Tech University. During her time at Parker, she served her class as Vice President and was active in the ICPA & Family Wellness Club. For her final clinic rotation, she was selected to serve at New Beginnings Family Chiropractic, where she received specialized training in care for pregnant women and children of all ages. She also traveled on several outreach trips to Mexico City, providing Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic care to hundreds of deserving families.
Dr. Marie is certified in Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and has done extensive training in prenatal and pediatric care, Quantum Neuro Reset (QNR), craniosacral and myofascial therapies, and Knee-Chest Upper Cervical.
Dr. Marie is passionate about the quality of care over quantity of care, recognizing that each individual’s journey to health is unique and should be treated as such. She believes in taking a holistic approach to healthcare, understanding that the body’s various systems are interconnected and influence each other. Her experiences with her own health challenges and her success in finding relief through chiropractic care have shaped her compassionate and patient-centered approach to her practice.
